Check what is already installed
The Agent checks service health before changing anything. Existing installations are reused instead of blindly overwritten.

Choose the narrow installation
Full product uses
npx … setup --target all. Skill-only usesnpx … skill install --target all. If npm is unavailable, the Agent downloads the five public Skill files over HTTPS. - 03
Verify and explain the handoff
The Agent reports the installed directories and service health, then asks you to complete wallet setup locally and create a scoped Agent authorization.
Add Agent knowledge
Installs or refreshes the Skill without starting or changing the local service.

The Skill includes PowerShell and POSIX commands that preserve the complete directory structure.

The Agent still cannot access your wallet.
Create or import the wallet inside the local AgentShield UI. Never paste the mnemonic, private key or wallet password into chat.
Create a scoped, expiring Agent authorization with only the required capabilities and policy limits.
Give the authorization token to the intended local Agent. It uses the installed Skill to verify the account and follow policy.
